This project develops durable water bottle accessories that convert hydration products into a lamp, reducing load weight for hikers and campers.
This multifunctional solution provides convenient access to hydration and light without compromising on style or practicality, enhancing the outdoor experience.
The Thought
Hikers and campers carry heavy loads over long distances, and certain essentials can be bulky but cannot be compromised.
Hydration is a necessity, as are light sources and navigation. Rather than inventing a new product, creating attachments for commonly used hiking gear allows users to customize according to need.
Ideation
Initial design directions: one where the lamp integrates as an extension of the bottle's form, and another where it functions as a simple addition.

Final Design
A versatile lamp that mounts directly to your water bottle. It uses a quick silicone grip or magnetic click to fit different materials, shapes and sizes, combining hydration and lighting to keep your pack light.
